I received my Master’s in Social Work from The George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. I worked in Washington DC as a Policy Associate in the Chemical Dependency Program for the Child Welfare League of America in Washington DC for several years before moving to the Seattle area. I switched to clinical work as a social worker for youth in a residential treatment facility for youth placed in out-of-home care before moving on to providing counseling in several capacities in community mental health. I took a break from social work to be a stay at home dad and pursue other career paths and returned to doing therapy at the start of the pandemic working mainly with adults dealing with anxiety and depression.
